Shy's TOMB of LOST GMod Addons. Sometimes I see a red missing addon in my addon list and it REALLY bugs me that I don't know what that addon was!

This page is mainly dedicated to matching the id of an addon with what the addon actually was. You can get the addon id by trying to open the addon via the addon manager in gmod, it will attempt to open the steam workshop page and the numbers at the end of the url is the id.

I try to keep backups (I'm subbed to over 1K addons) but it seems like addons still get lost. I believe GMod now auto deletes addons from the user's computer because it makes no sense that I WOULDN'T have the gma file when I KNOW I had the addon downloaded.

Many times removed addons are actually just reuploads of something you can find elsewhere. Sometimes addons are removed by the creator for legit reasons for example: I removed a map from the workshop I made a long time ago due to some technical issues it had which I eventually intend to fix, however in the mean time one even older and more broken version of this map has been reuploaded (against the workshop rules btw) and the reuploader (some ukrainian) refuses to remove the map even though I've asked him politely and will probably have to DMCA him at some point. Not only that but he also credits the map to some completely random person who doesn't exist.

I will NOT be reuploading ANYTHING to the workshop. Addon reuploads (especially on the workshop) are for the most part super gay and annoying. They are also against the gmod workshop rules so expect any reupload of a removed addon to get removed from the workshop as well.

SOMETIMES reuploads are needed for addons that get removed for stupid reasons (nintendo), or are suddenly infected with malware/adware by the creator. Sometimes Addons are simply replaced with newer versions, for example "Mass Effect Props" Use to be 4 different addons but they were all removed and replaced with one single addon when the workshop size limit was increased.

This page is mainly to scratch my itch of needing to KNOW what was lost. Maybe someone reading this will help me find these, (I will add your name to the entry if you help find it) which may also help other people who lost the same addons find them. I may be willing to accept other people's submissions to this list if the lost addon is significant in some way or there is enough info about it to create an entry.

The download links on this page are likely to be gone one day as well so found addons may one day be lost again file-wise, however the important thing to me is knowing what they were.
